Proposed 2017 Florida franchise legislation


A committee substitute for SB 750, creating the “Protect Florida Small Business Act”, which is intended to regulate the conduct of franchisors and their representatives to prevent fraud, unfair business practices, unfair methods of competition, impositions, and other abuses upon franchisees in Florida, has been favorably reported out of the first of three Florida state senate committees to which the legislation had been referred.
