Biographical Information

Stephen M. Feidelman maintains a general civil law practice near Fort Lauderdale, in Hollywood, Florida, with a core concentration on franchise and dealership representation and allied business law issues. Mr. Feidelman obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University’s College of Law, in St. Petersburg, Florida, and his B. S. in Business Administration (Accounting) from Boston University. He is admitted to practice in Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Mr. Feidelman has attained a Martindale-Hubbell Rating of AV®, which depicts that a lawyer is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity. He is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and a Qualified Arbitrator.

Mr. Feidelman has served on the Executive Council of The Florida Bar Business Law Section and has chaired the Section’s Franchise Law Committee; its Subcommittee on Franchise Law Certification; and its Antitrust, Franchise and Trade Regulation Law Committee. He has been a faculty participant in numerous seminars related to franchise and business opportunity legal issues, has written seminars on franchise law issues, and contributed to Bar committee consumer education pamphlets and seminar course materials. He has also been a guest lecturer on franchise law issues at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, Nova Southeastern University. He is presently a member of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising; the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar; the Broward County Bar Association.  Mr. Feidelman has previously participated as a LegaLine® panel attorney of the American Association of Franchisees and Dealers (AAFD). He has served as a commercial arbitrator under Franarb, Inc.’s Franchise Arbitration and Mediation Service as well as a consumer rights arbitrator under the Better Business Bureau’s AutoLine® “Lemon Law” Dispute Settlement Program. Mr. Feidelman has also served as a mediator of civil disputes including franchise matters.
